Nisaika Kumtuks Elementary Centre

A collaboration between School District 84, the Boys and Girls Club of Central Vancouver Island, the Nanaimo Aboriginal Centre and MIMN, this innovative education model infuses Aboriginal culture and language into 3 key components:

  • Early Years programs (conception – 6)
  • Primary education (grades K-3)
  • Wrap around of child, youth and family programs

The Elementary Centre opened September 22, 2014, all students are welcome, although space is limited.  Contact Heather Goodall, Vice Principal, at 250-754-3215 for more information.
